After spending his early childhood in Connecticut, John-Henry moved to Michigan with his family and grew up near Ann Arbor. He attended John Paul the Great Catholic University in Southern California where he earned a B.S. in media communications. He later attended Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit where he earned an additional bachelor’s in philosophy.

After seminary, he moved to Chicago and started working in visual media. While there he worked on dozens of projects for clients across the country and outside of it and was nominated for an Emmy. In 2020 he moved to Virginia where he worked in the non-profit space and in the U.S. Senate before launching his own freelance business in 2022.

John-Henry is well versed in industry standard equipment and software including RED, Arri, Canon and Sony camera systems, DaVinci Resolve, and the Adobe Creative Suite, which he has been using professionally for nearly 15 years.

John-Henry enjoys hiking, writing, old-film cameras, and traveling. Over the last several years he has visited 30 countries over three continents. He knows enough Spanish to order burritos, enough German to order beer, and enough Latin to be pretentious when it’s called for.
